I am The Eclectic Angler. A friend told me about this forum and post about my reel making. There is much more information about reel making on my forum http://www.reelsmithing.com/forum. I have just completed a book called The Reelsmith's Primer that teaches you how to build these reels. They only take about 10 hours to build your first reel.
